August 2020 EMUI security update rolling out to Honor 8X

Honor has started rolling out the current patch update for the Honor 8X smartphone user in India. It includes build number 10.0.0.225 and comes with a security patch released in the month of August 2020.  The package size is 12MB, August 2020 security update includes 1 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

Settings -> System & updates -> Software update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install

Download Via Support App: Open Support (HiCare) app -> Services -> Update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.
