The Huawei P40 series has officially announced on March 26. During the press conference, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group says, we will be able to meet the demand of its new smartphones amidst the COVID-19 global pandemic.
He said, the company has sufficient units of P40 series and it is ready to meet consumer demand. “We already started manufacturing the P40 in Q4 2019. So despite China having COVID, we see it as under control now, and the manufacturing and supply chains have recovered. Our supply for the P40 has been eased, so it is ready now, because we started last year, and have been manufacturing for four months,” Yu said.
The Huawei P40 series includes three models the Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, and Huawei P40 Pro Plus. The pricing of these phones starts at €799, €999, and €1399 respectively.
