Huawei’s latest Emotion UI version the EMUI 10.1 brings a bunch of new features. Multi-Window can display two different apps in separate views. This functionality makes your smartphone into an efficiency-boosting mobile office tool, it just like a PC-like operation. Split-screen functionality is incorporated into the latest P40 series smartphones.
Split-screen For Multi-tasking:
Slide-in from either edge of the screen and hold to access the Multi-Window dock, then hold an app and drag it out to enter a split-screen view. The position of the two windows can be switched, just by touching and holding one of the windows.
Drag and drop split-screen operations:
Split-screen for Multi-tasking helps you to simply drag and drop your current tasks like Images, text, files, etc can be dragged from one app to another in the split-screen view.

Disabling Multi-Window
Multi-Window is enabled by default, and can be disabled under Settings > Accessibility features > Multi-Window by switching off the Multi-Window dock.
