Huawei and Shandong Energy Group establish a joint innovation center

Huawei has officially announced that with the Shandong Energy Group the company has established a joint innovation center, marking a new stage of high-level and substantive cooperation between the two parties, which will promote the transformation and upgrading of the coal industry.

Ling Wen, member of the provincial government party group and vice governor, Xin Guanglong, party secretary and director of the Shandong Bureau of the State Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, Zhang Bin, party secretary and director of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Jinan Municipal Government party group member and deputy mayor Sun Bin, provincial Gao Fang, member of the party group and deputy director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology, Xu Bo, second-level inspector of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Wang Fudong, member of the party group and deputy director of the Provincial Energy Bureau, Li Wei, party secretary and chairman of Shandong Energy Group, deputy secretary, director,general manager of the party committee Manager Zhang Baocai, Huawei Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Coal Mine Corps Zou Zhilei attended the symposium.

Zou Zhilei said that the joint innovation center established by Shandong Energy Group and Huawei will introduce 20 topics in 7 major fields, including intelligent mining standards, mining industry, digital industry, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, and talent training.

At the same time, the joint innovation center will gather the resources of Huawei University (including the Hangzhou training center) and the coal mine army team, invest more than 30 experts to develop courses, and output 3 types of courses including 18 courses covering management and technical teams, helping Shandong energy to build a future-oriented cross-border joint training mechanism for industry compound talents consolidates the talent echelon.
