Huawei Mate 30 5G series receiving August 2020 security update

Huawei has started rolling out the August 2020 security patch update for the Huawei Mate 30 5G series smartphone users. The latest software update is based on EMUI 10.1 and comes with build number 10.1.0.156. As per the security concern, the update is huge around 1GB, users are advised to download it via proper internet connection.

Huawei Mate 30 5G Series EMUI 10.1.0.156 Changelog:

Version Update: 10.1.0.152 → 10.1.0.156

Models: Mate 30 (5G) TAS-AN00,  LIO-AN00 & Mate 30 RS Porsche LIO-AN00P.

This update includes Android Patches for improved system security.

Check for the OTA update in Settings manually, just tap Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates > Download and install.

You can also update using the Support app. Open the app, go to  Support app> Services>Update> Check for Updates> Download & Install. (Get the latest version of the Support app).
