Huawei MateBook D 14 and D 15 Ryzen gets BIOS Update

Huawei’s MateBook D 14 and D 15 Ryzen editions getting the new update which brings BIOS updates. This BIOS update improves system security and performance. It also adds a performance tuning feature that provides performance management.

You can update the new BIOS via PC Manager. You can download the BIOS file for D 14 Ryzen here , and the BIOS file for D 15 Ryzen here .

How to Update BIOS?

  • Open the BIOS file you downloaded from the link with any zip viewer. Extract the file. After running the program, the computer will automatically reboot.
  • When your computer restarts, you will see the update screen above. Never turn off or unplug the computer while it is in the update state. It will automatically restart when the process is finished, it may take 1-2 minutes for the computer to boot.

You can also change this setting by pressing the FN+P keys simultaneously. The build number of the new BIOS update is 1.16.

Connectivity options on the two notebooks include a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port for charging, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The MateBook D 14 comes with a 56Wh battery and measures 322.5×214.8×15.9mm, weighing 1.38kg while the MateBook D 15 comes with a 42Wh battery and measures 357.8×229.9×16.9mm, weighing 1.53kg.
