Huawei has started rolling out the new HarmonyOS software update for the Nova 2S smartphone users. The latest update comes with firmware version 2.0.0.125 and it fixes the problem of abnormal display of dial interface and alarm clock vibration settings in some scenes. Based on HarmonyOS Huawei’s equipment has been upgraded to over 157 million units, third-party devices based OpenHarmony reach 60 million units. Huawei is confident that Hongmeng equipment will exceed 300 million by the end of this year.
In addition, the global distribution of Hongmeng software applications reached 5.1 million+ developers, 170+ countries and regions, and the cumulative distribution of applications reached 332.2 billion (January-September 2021). It is reported that hundreds of models have been upgraded to Huawei HarmonyOS 2 in succession. In the near future, Huawei HarmonyOS 2 will be open to upgrades for more models, including many old phones and tablet products from Huawei and Honor.
