Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro and Nova 5z getting HarmonyOS 2 public beta update

Huawei has started sending HarmonyOS 2 public beta update to the Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, and Nova 5z smartphone users. Huawei launched the new nova 5 series models in 2019. The Huawei Nova 5 mobile phone is equipped with a Kirin 810 processor, a front 32 MP camera, and a rear 48 MP AI quad-camera.

Huawei announced in June this year that “100” of devices such as Huawei’s mobile phones and tablets will successively launch HarmonyOS 2 upgrades. Including HUAWEI Mate 40 series, Mate 30 series, P40 series, Mate X2, nova 8 series, MatePad Pro series, and other devices.

Huawei has stated many times before that it is expected that at least 300 million devices will be equipped with the Hongmeng system by the end of this year, of which 200 million will be Huawei’s own equipment.

Huawei Nova 5i Pro smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) (Upgradable now) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa-core (2.27 GHz, Dual-core, Cortex A76 + 1.88 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A55) processor. Inside it has a HiSilicon Kirin 810 Chipset and for the memory, it has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

Huawei Nova 5i Pro smartphone has a IPS LCD display. It measures 156.1 mm x 73.9 mm x 8.3 mm and weighs 178 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 412 ppi pixel density. At the camera front, users get a 32 MP Front Camera and on the rear, there’s an 48+8+2+2 MP camera with features like 6 x Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.
