Back in December 2020, Huawei unveiled its Nova 8 Series smartphones in China. The Nova 8 Pro is the first 120Hz refresh rate display phone on the company’s portfolio that features a 300Hz touch sampling rate, 6.72 inches 2676*1236 resolution screen with 440ppi.
Now, according to the information, Huawei has started distributing the January 2022 security patch update for both Nova 8 Pro 4G BRQ-AL00 and Nova 8 Pro 5G BRQ-AN00 models. The latest software update is rolling out with the firmware version HarmonyOS 2.0.0.219.

[Security] Incorporate the January 2022 security patch to enhance the security of the mobile phone system.
The January 2022 security patch includes 2 Critical, and 18 High levels of CVE’s. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system tracks publicly known security vulnerabilities and exposures in publicly released software packages.
