Huawei P40 Pro to get 10x Optical Zoom – Ming Chi

Huawei is preparing its P series smartphones P40 and P40 Pro launch at the end of March in Paris, France, Huawei’s CEO has confirmed. Now as the news and rumors continue, An analyst Ming Chi Kuo has predicted that the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro will have a newly designed periscope telephoto lens, giving it 10x optical zoom. New Huawei models will mostly use these new periscope telephoto lenses, including the Huawei P40, high-end Nova devices, high-end Honor devices and the next Huawei Mate flagship.

Ming Chi Guo also states in the report that Huawei‘s high-end Huawei P40 Pro is expected to sell for 4,000 to 5,000 yuan ($570 – $713). He also estimates that the device will sell at least 9 million units shipped in 2020.

The display is said to be 6.5-inches in size with a QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a screen-to-body ratio of 98% and it will arrive with curved display. The Huawei P40 Pro has a USB Type-C port at the bottom by the SIM tray and speaker griller and also has no audio jack.
