July 2020 update rolling out for Huawei Watch GT users

Huawei has started rolling out July 2020 software update for Huawei Watch GT, this new update is sent for the Elegant and Sport variant of the Watch GT and comes with fixes issues related to the last update. The update is small about 1.29MB.

Huawei Watch GT Elegant:

Firmware version: 1.0.90.18
Basic version: 1.0.90.8

Huawei Watch GT Sport:

Firmware version: 1.0.12.18
Basic version: 1.0.12.8

HOW TO UPDATE:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.

1) After the update has been transferred to your watch. Wait a few minutes to ensure that the installation is complete.

2) Before updating, make sure your watch’s battery level is higher than 20%.
