October 2020 security patch rolling out to Huawei Nova 5 Pro

Huawei Nova 5 Pro is part of the company’s latest Emotion UI – EMUI 11 update and it is currently under beta testing. EMUI 11 comes with dynamic Always-on Display options, a new Gallery interface, better multi-window support, EOD (Eyes on Display) and better Huawei Share options (Laptops/Wearable/Devices).

Now ahead of the stable EMUI 11 update the Huawei Nova 5 Pro smartphone users in China getting the October 2020 security patch update based on EMUI 10.1 and comes with software version 10.1.0.168/169.

How to download EMUI 10.1?

Download from your system settings option: Tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Download from Support App: Go to Support app > Services ->Update > Check for updates.

To recall, Huawei Nova 5 Pro runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The phone has an OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 PPI pixel density.
