openEuler 22.03 LTS first long-term version of community co-construction officially released

According to the information, openEuler officially announced that openEuler 22.03 LTS, the first co-construction community version after Euler’s official donation was officially released. This version is also Euler’s first long-term community version that supports full-scene integration.

The deployment requirements and application scenarios of many different types of equipment in the four scenarios of server, cloud computing, edge computing and embedded.

As a long-term version, openEuler 22.03 LTS adopts a unified Linux Kernel 5.10 kernel for different scenarios and realizes unified construction, unified SDK, and unified connection for servers, cloud computing, edge computing and embedded, which is convenient for developers to build Scenario’s digital infrastructure operating system.

openEuler 22.03 LTS incorporates the commercially proven innovative features of the three innovative versions of openEuler, and releases new features for the first time for the four scenarios, adding a total of 23 million lines of code.

Provide different system images for four scenarios:

  • Server scenario: openEuler 22.03 LTS Server
  • Cloud computing scenario: openEuler 22.03 LTS Cloud
  • Edge Computing Scenario: openEuler 22.03 LTS Edge
  • Embedded scene: openEuler 22.03 LTS Embedded

openEuler 22.03 LTS fully supports diversified computing, including Kunpeng, Intel, Feiteng, Shenwei, Loongson, Zhaoxin and other mainstream chips. Full support for Intel Icelake and basic support for next-generation Intel Sapphire Rapids are provided. Other features will be incorporated into subsequent updates of openEuler 22.03 LTS.
