What is EMUI? Complete Details of Huawei’s Android skin.

What is EMUI? Complete Details of  Huawei’s Android skin: EMUI was first introduced in version 1.0  on December 30, 2012 for the Ascend P1.

At that time, the user interface was still called “Emotion UI” (Emotion User Interface). From UI version 3.0 Huawei  has decided to officially use only the short form EMUI and drop the original name.

The latest version of the skin is currently EMUI 9.1, which made its debut on the Huawei P30 Pro series. It’s a minor upgrade over EMUI 9.0 that was announced alongside the Mate 20 series and is now running on quite a few Huawei and Honor phones.
