2.01 million annual salary, Huawei’s new genius is released: Wuhan University’s doctoral students in 1994 were selected

According to the latest information, Huawei’s “Genius Youth” program is a project initiated by Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei to attract top talents with top challenges and top salaries. The wages of “genius teenagers” are paid according to the annual wage system. There are three levels, with the highest annual salary of 2.01 million yuan.

Wuhan University on September 17, Jiang Kui, a 2019-level PhD in Computer Science and Technology from the School of Computer Science, was selected as Huawei’s “Genius Youth” program. He was born in 1994.

According to the report, while in school, Jiang Kui participated in the research of 6 projects including the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the major technological innovation projects of Hubei Province, and the general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Published more than 30 papers in important international and domestic journals and conferences in the field of computer vision, of which 14 were the first author’s articles (8 papers from the SCI Chinese Academy of Sciences, 6 IEEE Transactions), 8 invention patents were declared, and 2 were authorized.

In addition, Jiang Kui also won the runner-up of the AIM (ICCV Workshop) 2019 Extreme Video Super-Resolution Challenge; IEEE NTIRE (CVPR Workshop) 2019 Video Super Resolution Challenge Track1 (Clean) fifth place, Track2 (blur) No. Three; Megvii 2020 Artificial Intelligence Open Source Competition third place (3/108); CVPR2021 outstanding reviewer.

In 2019 and 2020, he won the national scholarship for doctoral students twice in a row, and was named an outstanding graduate student of Wuhan University in the 2019-2020 academic year.
