EMUI 14 Beta is now available for the Mate 50 Pro

Huawei has recently released the EMUI 14 Beta update for the Mate X3 and the P60 Pro devices. Now, the update is expanding to the Mate 50 Pro users as well.

As per the update the latest EMUI 14 beta update for Mate 50 Pro is rolling out with the build number 14.0.0.136.

This update introduces EMUI 14, offering a completely new intelligent ecosystem and a more efficient interaction experience, while providing more room for customization. Here are some of the many exciting features now available.

Create your own home screen

Magazine Themes
The Art Star theme allows you to choose a portrait photo you like with a matching background. The poster design features a magazine-like layout, mixing and matching colors and patterns. The Headline theme provides six fonts to customize the clock on the lock screen. Each of these themes allows you to extract colors from the background to create matching app icons.

Interactive Themes
The emoji theme animates your screen background with interactive effects.
There is an immersive weather background that changes depending on the current weather and the phone’s angle of view.

Maximize productivity and efficiency

Live View
Keeps you updated on the status of important appointments by displaying timely notifications on the lock screen, home screen and more. You will also find a fixed notification window at the top left of the home screen. Tap this window for more details.

SuperHub
Supports dragging and dropping content between apps and devices. You can press and hold the recognized texts and images, drag and drop them into SuperHub, where they can be temporarily saved or sent in batches.

Ark Engine
Delivers a more enjoyable user experience with the updated Ark Engine.

UPDATE NOTES:

This update will not delete your personal information. However, it is recommended to back up important data before updating.
Some third-party apps that are not compatible with EMUI 14 may not work properly after updating. It is recommended that you update these apps to the latest version in the App Store.
The update package will be automatically deleted after the update is complete.
If you encounter problems updating, call Huawei’s customer hotline or visit a Huawei customer service center.
The home screen layout may be slightly changed.
The system version can be rolled back to the official version EMUI 13 via HiSuite. If you roll back the version, all your user data will be deleted. Back up your data in advance.
