Huawei has started kicking off the HarmonyOS 2.0 beta update for popular devices including – Huawei Mate 40, P40, Mate 30, and more. The latest update for all these devices optimizes the content display and sound experience.

After public beta testing, on June 23, Huawei has finally announced the first HarmonyOS 2.0 stable update for 18 devices including Huawei Mate 40, P40, Mate 30, and more. Now, these devices users can upgrade their devices to new HM OS without participating in the beta program. Huawei Mate 40, Mate 30 and P40 series getting the latest software update with firmware version 2.0.0.136. Check the complete details below.

Huawei Mate 40 smartphone runs on Android v10 (Q) operating system, it runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G Chipset (The advanced and powerful 5 nm Kirin 9000E 5G SoC is capable of multi-tasking, processing massive amounts of data, and powering instantly-responsive AI computing with ease) and has 8 GB RAM.

At the camera front, users will get a 32 MP camera and on the rear, there’s a 48MP + 16MP + 8MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 4500 mAh battery.

Note: Currently, this HarmonyOS 2.0 update is rolling out to Huawei developers, who have registered in HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta testing earlier.
