Honor 30 receiving Multi-device control panel and June 2020 security update

Honor 30 smartphone users in China receiving the new Magic UI 3.1 update with version number Magic UI 3.1.1.162. It brings a Multi-Device control panel to achieve collaboration between smart devices. The update size is 2.07GB.

Before upgrading your device make sure the smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection. Check the changelog and version upgrade below.

Multi-Device Control Panel:

Allows you to connect to your devices more easily by using the Multi-Device Control Panel, such as when connecting to your audio input or output device during music and video playback. Swipe up from the left or right of the bottom edge when the screen is unlocked to access the Multi-Device Control Panel. Go to Settings> More connections> Multi-Device Collaboration to try it out.

Camera:

Optimizes video shooting effects.

Security:

Integrated Android security patches released in June 2020 for improved system security.

Download Via Settings:

Settings -> System & updates -> Software update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install

Download Via Support App: Open Support (HiCare) app -> Services -> Update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.
