Honor 8X Max receiving December 2019 security update

Honor has started rolling out the December 2019 security update for the Honor 8X Max smartphone users. Honor 8X Max (ARE-AL00, & ARE-TL00) runs on EMUI 9.1. The latest software update brings version number EMUI 9.1.0.165. (Last version 9.1.0.160 )

Install/download it via your phone setting, tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates > Download and install.

Or download Honor 8X Max EMUI 9.1.0.165 update via HiCare (Support) App:  HiCare app -> ‘Services’ -> ‘Update’ >‘Check for updates’ -> ‘Download and install’
