Honor 9 Youth Edition aka 9 Lite

Honor has officially released the April 2020 security patch and Smart Charging Mode update for the Honor 9 Youth Edition aka Honor 9 Lite smartphone users. The latest version is based on EMUI 9.1 and comes with build number EMUI 9.1.0.140. As usual this update is rolling out via OTA download it now.

Models: LLD-AL00, LLD-AL10 & LLD-TL10

9.1.0.135 → 9.1.0.140 (Update Size: 631MB)

Smart Charging:

Reserves battery health by adapting to your charging routine. Charging may be paused to delay charging your device to 100% (Full) until you need it. Huawei Smart Charge Mode Protects the battery from aging during overnight charging.

Activate Smart Charge: Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.

How to download Honor 9 Youth Edition Update?

Download from your system settings option: Tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Download from HiCare (now known as Support) App: Go to Support app: Support> Services ->Update > Check for updates.
