Honor 9X and 9X Pro EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.105 brings July 2020 patch and system optimization

Honor has stated that the official version of EMUI 10.1 now rolling out for the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphone users who signed up for EMUI 10.0 new features and EMUI 10.1 internal testing.

The latest update picks up software version 10.1.0.105 and brings the July 2020 security patch, and more. The update package is about 708 MB in size. Users are advised to take a backup before upgrading.

Also, This update will be completed on July 15th, supporting 10.0.1.132/10.1.0.103 to 10.1.0.105 version.

Added the ability to quickly switch recent tasks, slide left and right along the bottom edge, pr upward arc. To use gesture control open the Settings, go to System, and tap System navigation, then select Gestures.

Optimizes finger gesture operation.

[Security]

Integrates Android security patches released in July 2020 for improved system security.

[Battery]

Adds the Smart Charge mode, reducing battery aging by adapting to your charging routine through AI learning and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full.

Adds the Smart Battery Capacity feature, reducing battery aging by intelligently adjusting the battery capacity according to the battery status. Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings and enable Smart Battery Capacity to try it out.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Check via system Settings: Open Phone Settings -> System -> Software update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.
