Honor Magic 2 getting March 2021 security patch and quick download icon for Link Now App update

Honor has started distributing a new software update for the Honor Magic 2 smartphone users with the latest firmware version 11.0.0.133. According to the update changelog, it brings March 2021 security patch along with a quick download icon for the Link Now and Honor Club applications.

The March 2021 security update includes the CVE announced in the security bulletin. It includes 2 Critical, 13 High levels, and 131 Medium levels.

Version Update: 11.0.0.130 -> 11.0.0.133

Changes:

• [Security] Incorporate March 2021 security patches to enhance phone system security.
• Add a quick download icon for the Link Now, Honor Club, and Honor Mall applications, click to download, and use.

Notes:
1. Please make sure that your phone is not ROOT. You can upgrade to version 3.1.1.201 online after receiving the push.
2. The version is pushed in batches. Users who have not received it yet, please wait patiently.
3. This upgrade will not delete your data, but it is still recommended that you back up all important data to the PC or the cloud before the upgrade.
4. The system will restart after the update is completed. Please wait patiently for about five minutes.
