Honor Play EMUI 9.1 (9.1.0.346) update rolling out with Screen Sharing, Smart Charge

Honor has started rolling out the Screen Sharing, Smart Charging Mode, and May 2020 security update for the Honor Play smartphone users. The latest update incorporates the Android security patch to enhance the security of the smartphone. The update size is 3.87GB, make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection.

Honor Play EMUI 9.1 (9.1.0.346) Changelog:

Models: Honor Play COR-AL00, COR-AL10 & COR-TL10

Version Update: 9.1.0.340 -> 9.1.0.346 (The version is pushed in batches.)

Screen Sharing:

Enables you to share your current screen for easier communication during video calls. You can also write and draw on the screen as if talking to face to face with the other party.

Smart Charging:

Reserves battery health by adapting to your charging routine. Charging may be paused to delay charging your device to 100% (Full) until you need it. Huawei Smart Charge Mode Protects the battery from aging during overnight charging.

Activate Smart Charge: Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.

This update includes Android Patches for improved system security.

To download an update, First, check if you haven’t received a notification yet, check for the OTA update in Settings manually, just tap Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates > Download and install.

You can also update using the Support app. Open the app, go to  Support app> Services>Update> Check for Updates> Download & Install. (Get the latest version of the Support app).
