Honor V30 series users can now install January 2022 security patch update

Honor has started sending the January 2022 security patch update to the Honor V30 series users in China. The latest software update comes with version number HarmonyOS 2.0.0.220.

The January 2022 security patch update includes 2 Critical and 18 High levels of CVE’s for improved system security. The CVE system tracks publicly known security vulnerabilities and exposures in publicly released software packages.

As an independent brand now the company is working on bringing new products with great capabilities and performance. Honor CEO Zhao Ming at Honor’s development goals in an internal communication event said in the past that Honor may be the largest startup company in China. Zhao Ming said that Honor wants to hit the high-end market and will bring new products soon.

HONOR V30 5G AND HONOR V30 PRO 5G SPECIFICATIONS:

Both Honor V30 and V30 Pro smartphones have a 6.57 inch Full HD + display with IPS LCD. It has 91.46 percent screen to ratio. This smartphone works on Kirin 990 5G chipset and has been introduced on Android 10 with EMUI custom screen. The fingerprint sensor has been provided in the phone for security.

The Honor V30 has a triple rear camera setup, has a 40-megapixel primary Sony IMX600 sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. The Honor V30 has a 4,200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
