Huawei and China Mobile: 5G Internet of Vehicles technology

According to a recent report, under the organization of the China Mobile Research Institute, the Chinese tech giant Huawei has collaborated with Chongqing Mobile, Jiangsu Mobile, and Shanghai Mobile to complete the 5G-based commercial network ( All Uu air interface) IoV testing.

The overall test measures the average end-to-end communication delay over the air interface is less than 17ms. Huawei selected 23 high-priority scenarios for testing and verification.

Based on the common UPF architecture of cities, the average end-to-end communication delay of the air interface is less than 20ms. Based on the innovative UPF sinking architecture, the average end-to-end communication delay over the air interface is less than 17ms.
