Huawei and JAC working on ultra-luxury Aito MPV (1)
According to the latest information, Huawei and the Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp (JAC) are now together working on a new ultra-luxury MPV which will cost around €130,000. The report was confirmed by a well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The mass production is set to start in Q2 2024. The Aito MPV will bring a powerful tool to enhance the brand’s value, satisfy high-end user demands, and trigger technological innovation.
Aito MPV is expected to hit 20-30% of the projected sales in 2024, it would still lead to a substantial revenue boost for JAC. As per the report, JAC is anticipated to see growth in the third quarter and the second half of the year.
The Aito MPV will play an important role in Huawei’s long-term automotive strategy, Kuo said, adding that the model’s positioning in the automotive market is similar to the ultra-premium positioning of Huawei’s P/Mate series in the Android smartphone market, with the aim of satisfying the needs of high-end users, enhancing brand value and promoting technological innovation.
