Huawei and ZTE takes the lead in 6G: 50 times faster than 5G

Under the leadership of Huawei and ZTE, China’s 6G is accelerating its research and development. Today, Ziguang Zhanrui, vivo, Datang Communications and other operators, equipment vendors, terminal vendors, etc. have all released 6G white papers and made some 6G layouts and predictions.

In November 2020, China also leads in launching a 6G communication experimental satellite, realizing the world’s first terahertz wave space research and development. This takes my country’s 6G research forward one step further. According to news from Jiwei, the current leading manufacturers in the industry chain, such as antennas and radio frequency, have also deployed related technologies.

Although the 6G communication standard has not yet been formulated, countries have reached a consensus on the improvements that 6G will bring. And 6G has two distinct characteristics.

6G communication is no longer limited to terrestrial communications. The terrestrial communications network will be connected with communications satellites to achieve global signal coverage by land, sea and air. At that time, there were also unobstructed signals in inaccessible areas such as oceans, deserts, and deep mountains.

Compared with 5G, the speed of 6G will be 50 times that of 5G, and the delay will be greatly reduced.

However, the leap from 5G to 6G still needs to overcome many problems, such as the upgrading of basic issues such as application materials, and the application of 5G millimeter waves. It is reported that 6G will commercialization in 2030.
