Huawei applied for NOVA Watch trademark

Huawei on January 11 applied for a “NOVA Watch” trademark and it is currently under process. Huawei Nova is a smartphone series launched by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. in 2016. Honor is now independent of Huawei, Huawei will use the Nova series to explore the market, and it is expected to launch other products besides mobile phones. The word “Nova” is derived from “Innovation” (innovation) and “Bossanova” (passion), which means “new” in Latin, and “new star” in astronomy, meaning “the brightest star”.

Huawei has recently launched the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro New Year Edition that comes with new aesthetics including the new red and black nylon braided strap, and customizable watch faces.
