Huawei applied for the V-Pencil trademark

According to the LetsGoDigital, on October 4, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has officially applied for the “Huawei V-Pencil” trademark to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

The report pointed out that the trademark was classified as category 9 and described as “electronic pen, computer stylus, touch screen stylus”. This also means that Huawei is developing a new type of stylus for touch screen devices.

Earlier, it was reported that Huawei will launch the folding screen mobile phone Mate V. This device uses a top and bottom folding screen design, mainly for female consumers.

The market research agency SA predicted in May this year that global sales of folding screen smartphones are expected to reach 13 million units in 2022, and it is expected to increase to 37 million units in 2023.
