Huawei appointments Li Peng in the place of Ding Yun

In the early morning of October 7th, Ding Yun, vice chairman of Huawei’s board of supervisors, died of a sudden illness. Ding Yun held was Huawei’s chief cadre director, enterprise BG president, and operator BG president. The two core businesses in charge of him contributed more than 60% of Huawei’s total revenue.

Now, Huawei released the latest personnel appointment, with Li Peng serving as the president of the operator BG. According to public information, Li Peng previously served as president of Huawei’s Southern Africa region and Huawei’s Western Europe region.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday, Huawei’s official WeChat released a promotional video about the “13th Global Mobile Broadband Forum”. In the video, Li Peng issued an invitation as the president of Huawei’s operator BG.
