Huawei created the first virtual digital person Yunsheng [HUAWEI CONNECT 2021]

On September 23, 2021, Huawei held the Connect Conference. At the conference, HUAWEI CLOUD’s first virtual digital person, “Yun Sheng” appeared, (“Sheng” sounds “sheng”, originally meant to be a traditional Chinese musical instrument), and has just joined Huawei as a new employee.

In a speech by Zhang Pingan, Senior Vice President of Huawei, CEO of Huawei Cloud, and President of Consumer Cloud Services, the first virtual digital human cloud Sheng created by Huawei Cloud was introduced for the first time.

It is understood that this is the first virtual digital person that Huawei has created based on the digital content production line through AI’s automatic modeling, AI’s voice drive, and AI’s rendering acceleration.

Zhang Pingan said that “Yunsheng” has already joined Huawei Cloud as a new employee. The company has not disclosed much further information about “Yunsheng”.
