Huawei Enjoy 20 SE getting July 2021 update based on EMUI 10.1

Huawei Enjoy 20 SE smartphone was launched in China last September. The handset flaunts a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a rectangular camera module at the back, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and multiple color options.

Now the company has started rolling out the July 2021 security patch update for the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE and it is distributing with version number 10.1.1.162.

Integrates Android security patches released in July 2021 for improved system security.

This security update includes the CVE announced in the July 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 28 Medium and 21 High levels of CVE’s.

How to update?

There are two ways to update your device/smartphone, Via Settings option, or via Support app.

Via Settings: Just tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Via Support app: Support> Services -> Update > Check for updates.

Huawei Enjoy 20 SE sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 1,080 X 2,400 pixels resolution and a punch-hole cutout. It is powered by the Kirin 710A with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The phone runs on Android 10-based EMUI 10.1. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, and GPS.

As for the cameras, the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE has a triple-camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It supports up to 6x zoom along with monochrome temperature LED flash. There is an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. A 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support fuels the phone.
