Huawei Enterprise BG has a revenue target of 20 billion U.S. dollars this year

Huawei has recently published the 2020 annual report and it shows Huawei’s corporate BG revenue was 100.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23%, making it the fastest-growing BG among Huawei’s three major business segments.

During the Huawei Analyst Conference 2021, Chen Banghua, vice president of Huawei Enterprise BG, said in an interview with the media that Huawei’s enterprise BG faces great opportunities. A challenging revenue target was set internally in 2021: 20 billion U.S. dollars, compared with 2025. The goal is to reach 50 billion U.S. dollars.

He also said that Huawei has no plans to enter the payment market. The core of Huawei’s financial industry is to use technology to help financial customers carry out digital transformation.

In 2020, due to the difficulties encountered by the consumer business, the revenue structure of Huawei’s three business segments is undergoing new changes.

Specifically, Huawei’s operator business remained basically stable, with revenue of 302.6 billion yuan, an increase of 0.2% year-on-year, accounting for 34%. Consumer business revenue was RMB 482.9 billion, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year, accounting for 54.2%; corporate business revenue reached 100.3 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 23%, accounting for 11.3%.

Chen Banghua, vice president of Huawei Enterprise BG, said that at the macro-environment level, enterprise BG faces great opportunities. Whether it is domestic or overseas, governments or enterprises, all industries are investing in digital transformation. At the internal level, Huawei has established several important business units in 2020, including transportation, finance, government, and energy. Once it focuses on key industries, Huawei can build solutions closer to user needs.

According to this figure, it means that Huawei’s enterprise business revenue growth rate in 2021 will reach about 30%. Compared with all regions in the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, the digital transformation process of all industries in China is the fastest.
