Huawei HMS for Car will launch on Mercedes-Benz 2021 S-Class sedan

Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong has officially announced that the buyers of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class can experience the HMS for Car fast application service. Consumers can use a variety of third-party apps on the large screen of the car’s central control and can enjoy various in-car entertainment functions such as reading news, listening to stories, watching videos, and playing games while resting after driving.

This service called HMS for Car is introduced by Huawei’s terminal cloud service for automobiles, including functions such as the in-vehicle application market and Huawei’s smart assistant.

The 2021 brand new Mercedes-Benz S-Class includes S400L, S450L, and S500L models, with prices starting at RMB 899,000. The central control screen is a 12.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1888×1728 . The vehicle also has voice assistant and OTA remote upgrade functions.
