Huawei launched OceanProtect X9000 and E8000, a Backup Storage product

During the Huawei OceanProtect new data protection product launch conference, the Chinese tech giant Huawei launched its flagship new all-flash backup all-in-one product called OceanProtect X9000.

According to reports, the newly released OceanProtect X9000 all-flash performance backup machine and OceanProtect E8000 all-flash distributed backup device have an “industry-leading 65%” data reduction rate and support six layers of anti-ransomware protection to enhance storage memory.

The latest OceanProtect X9000 can support 130TB/hr backup bandwidth and 72TB/hr recovery bandwidth, and is known as “the industry’s first backup performance”. OceanProtect E8000 provides 144PB logical capacity on a single node and can be flexibly expanded to 4096 nodes.

For now, Huawei has provided data protection services to more than 10,000 enterprise customers in more than 120 countries and regions around the world.
