Huawei Mate 40 Series getting December 2021 security patch update

Huawei has started sending the December 2021 security patch update for the Huawei Mate 40 series based on HarmonyOS. The latest update for the Mate 40 series also brings the new elimination function, optimizes the compatibility with some Bluetooth headsets, and optimizes the system stability. • 2.0.0.212→ 2.0.0.218 update (Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro+, Mate 40 RS Porsche Design)
• 2.0.0.212→ 2.0.0.220 update (Mate 40 Pro (5G))
• 2.0.0.209 →2.0.0.219 update (Mate 40 Pro 4G)
• 2.0.0.212 → 2.0.0.218 (Mate 40E 4G)

• This update of the gallery picture editing function area will add a new elimination function, which can eliminate small defects on the simple background and make the picture more perfect.

• [Security] Integrates security patches released in December 2021 for improved system security. The December 2021 Huawei EMUI security patch is now live and it fixes 2 critical, 15 high levels of CVEs, 38 medium levels of CVEs while there’s no low level of CVEs. The December 2021 security patch (third-party library) also fixes 7 high levels of CVE as well as 22 levels of medium CVEs.
