According to the information, the Huawei Mate 40E to be released soon and will have the same design as the Huawei Mate 40 standard version, as well as a Leica three-camera lens module.
Earlier, Huawei released a Mate 30E Pro with an E suffix, equipped with a Kirin 990E processor. Now the Huawei Mate 40E is said to release in March equipped with Kirin 990E or other 5G processors.
Kirin 990E chip uses 7nm + EUV process, integrates about 10.3 billion transistors, uses Huawei Da Vinci architecture, NPU large core + NPU micro core design, 14 core Mail-G76 GPU and supports 5G NSA/SA dual mode Full Netcom.

Huawei Mate 40 smartphone runs on Android v10 (Q) operating system, it runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G Chipset (The advanced and powerful 5 nm Kirin 9000E 5G SoC is capable of multi-tasking, processing massive amounts of data, and powering instantly-responsive AI computing with ease) and has 8 GB RAM.
At the camera front, users will get a 32 MP camera and on the rear, there’s a 48MP + 16MP + 8MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 4500 mAh battery.
