Huawei Mate 50 series will be the next Mate series from the Chinese tech giant. Now according to the Weibo tipster Factory Director Shi Guan, Huawei will launch the new Nova 10 series in July 2022, but the Mate 50 series will land later on.
The tipster revealed that the Huawei Mate 50 series will launch with in-house Kirin chips – Kirin 9000S and Kirin 9000. The screenshot shared by the tipster shows that the Kirin 9000S chip is provided by Beijing Hai Technology. The performance of the Kirin 9000S and Kirin 9000 are “indistinguishable”, but the number of Kirin chips is not very large. The Huawei Mate50 series is mainly based on 4G, which cannot be changed.
Note that this is not the official confirmation so we need to wait until we hear from its official accounts of Huawei. Meanwhile, the Huawei Mate 50 series could debut with the HarmonyOS 3.0 version.
