The Chinese tech company Huawei has launched the Mate 50 smartphone series that allows users to send text messages via satellite communication.
It will allow you to send short texts via China’s global BeiDou satellite network. At the event, Richard Yu, CEO, of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, said that the smartphones could support satellite-based short message service (SMS).
Huawei Mate 50 becomes the world’s first smartphone to support Satellite communication. Now, it seems the company has planning to bring satellite communication feature in the Mate X2.
