Huawei has released the month-old security patch update for many devices including phones and tablets. Now, the February 2022 security patch update is now available for the Mate Xs users in mainland China. This firmware update comes with version number HarmonyOS 2.0.0.223. This update incorporates security patches and enhances the security of the mobile phone system. It is recommended that you update as soon as possible.

The January 2022 security patch includes 1 medium-level CVE in the kernel, 1 high-level CVE in the system as well as 1 critical, 9 high, and 30 medium levels of CVEs in third-party libraries. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system tracks publicly known security vulnerabilities and exposures in publicly released software packages.
