Huawei MatePad T8 tablet launched alongside Y6p and Y5p entry-level phones in Romania [Europe]

Huawei has officially launched the MatePad T8 tablet in Romania alongside the two entry-level smartphones Huawei Y6P and Y5P. Check the specifications below.

Huawei MatePad T8 Specifications:

The MatePad T8 features 8-inch LCD panel of 800p (1280 x 800 pixels) resolution. On the back, it brings a 5MP primary camera and at front it comes with a 2MP selfie shooter.

MatePad T8 is powered by an eight-core MTK8768 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 16/32GB internal storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The battery comes in at 5,100 mAh. The slate boots EMUI 10.0.1 on top of Android 10.

The Huawei MatePad T8 comes in a single blue colorway with a RON 500 (€100) pricetag and will be available later this month.

Huawei Y6p Specifications:

• Storage: 64GB (support up to 512gb microSD card)
• Chipset: MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762R)

• Colors: Emerald Green, Phantom Purple, and Midnight Black
• Others: Rear Fingerprint, 185g, Huawei’s own Harmony Mobile Services instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS).

The Huawei Y6P starting price is RON 799 (€165). Pre-orders start tomorrow in Romania with a RON 200 (€40) discount.

• Others: Rear Fingerprint, 144g, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and 3.5mm audio jack, Huawei’s own Harmony Mobile Services instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS).

The Huawei Y5P will go on pre-order tomorrow for 599 RON (€125). There is also an early bird discount of RON 200 (€40) discount.
