EMUI 10.1.0.170/171: Huawei Nova 5 Pro receiving November 2020 security patch update

Huawei selected it’s Nova 5 series smartphone the Nova 5 Pro in the EMUI 11 beta update and it is under testing for selected users. EMUI 11 comes with dynamic Always-on Display options, a new Gallery interface, better multi-window support, EOD (Eyes on Display) and more.

Now before you receive the stable EMUI 11 update the company has started sending the November 2020 security patch update in China and comes with software version EMUI 10.1.0.170/171.

How to download EMUI 10.1?

Download from your system settings option: Tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Download from Support App: Go to Support app > Services ->Update > Check for updates.

As per the specifications concern, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. For display the device gets an OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 PPI pixel density.

At the front, the phone has a 32 MP Camera and on the rear, there’s a 48+16+2+2 MP camera with features like 10 x Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.
