Huawei P20 Pro and MatePad T8 getting November 2021 patch update

According to the latest information from the global market, Huawei P20 Pro and MatePad T8 smartphone users are now getting the November 2021 security patch update with the latest firmware versions EMUI 10.0.0.197 and EMUI 10.1.0.185 respectively. This security update includes 1 critical, 22 high levels of CVEs, 8 medium levels of CVEs while there’s no low level of CVEs. Check the changelog below.

Huawei MatePad T8 Specifications:

Huawei MatePad T8 tablet was launched on 6th May 2020. The tablet comes with an 8.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×1260 pixels. Huawei MatePad T8 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MTK8768 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM. The Huawei MatePad T8 runs Android and is powered by a 5100mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei MatePad T8 on the rear packs a rear camera. It sports a camera on the front for selfies. The tablet runs on EMUI 10  and packs 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card. It was launched in Deep Sea Blue color. Connectivity options on the Huawei MatePad T8 include Wi-Fi and GPS.

How to update?

First check, if you haven’t received a notification yet, check for the OTA update in Settings manually, just tap on the Setting option in your smartphone, Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates > Download and install.

You can also update using the Support app. Open the app, go to  Support app> Services>Update> Check for Updates> Download & Install.
