Huawei P20 Pro global unit updated with July 2021 patch, EMUI 12 in H1 2022

Recently, Huawei released a list of devices that will get EMUI 12 update and the list was shared for the global unit. The EMUI 12 update will be made available in the H1 2022, check the complete list here.

The Huawei P20 series is also selected for the EMUI 12 update. Huawei’s EMUI 12 will come with the HarmonyOS 2 features. HarmonyOS 2 features include Universal card, pure mode, security, new UI, and more.

Now, let’s get back to the title of this article, the company has started sending a new firmware update for Huawei P20 Pro users in Europe and it is based on EMUI 10. The latest update comes with software version EMUI 10.0.0.193 and it includes July 2021 security patch and more. Check the changelog below.

Huawei P20 Pro EMUI 10.0.0.193 Update Changelog:

Update Package Change List 1: This update adds AI Voice and includes patches for increased system security.

[AI Voice]
Adds AI Voice. Say “Hello Celia” or press and hold the power button for a second to activate the voice assistant and give a voice command or ask a question. Adds the Huawei apps folder to the home screen to keep you up to date on popular apps.
Adds quick download shortcuts for the following apps: Petal Search, Reader, Petal Maps, GameCenter, Member Center, and Link Now. Tap the shortcuts to download the apps.
