Huawei P30 Lite and P30 Pro receiving October 2021 patch update

Huawei P30 Lite and P30 Pro smartphone users are now getting the October 2021 security patch updates in Europe. The updates can be downloaded as OTA updates. A download via WLAN is recommended due to the size of the data if you do not have enough data volume. The update for the P30 Pro is 215MB, but the size of the P30 Lite is unfortunately unknown as reported by HuaweiBlog.

The latest updates can be installed via phone Settings -> System -> System update. If you don’t see an update yet, keep calm. The updates are rolled out in waves and can also vary by region and provider. The updates are based on EMUI 11 and Android 10. The October 2021 patch update for the Huawei P30 Pro is rolling out build number EMUI 11.0.0.174. Check the changelog below.

3. Your system ringtones may change after installing this update. Go to Settings> Sounds to set new ringtones.

How to update?

Via Settings: Settings -> System & updates -> Software update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES-> Download and install.

Via Support: Support (HiCare) app -> Services Tab -> Update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES ->Download and install.

Huawei P30 Lite smartphone is powered by Octa core (2.2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 + 1.7 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor and it runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 710 Chipset. For memory the device has a 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

As far as the camera concern, users will get a 32 MP f/2.0 Primary Camera and at the rear, there’s an 24MP + 8MP + 2MP camera with features like 2 x Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 3340 mAh battery.
