Huawei P40 August 2022 security update now available

Here comes the good news for the Huawei P40 users in the global market. The company has started rolling out the August 2022 security patch for the P40 users with the latest firmware version 12.0.0.268 and the update package size is 364 MB.

To recall, the Huawei P40 5G sports a 6.10-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Huawei P40 5G is powered by a 2.86GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2.86GHz, 2 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.95GHz.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei P40 5G on the rear packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.9) primary camera; a 16-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the Huawei P40 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G , and 5G.
