Huawei published new patent for sharing mobile phone traffic with in-vehicle devices

Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. published a patent for “a method and electronic device for sharing traffic for in-vehicle electronic devices”, with the publication number CN113950031A.

The vehicle electronic device uses the first antenna to establish a Bluetooth connection with the mobile phone, and uses the second antenna to receive the SSID and access password sent by the mobile phone: and access the mobile hotspot according to the received SSID and access password.

In this way, only the mobile phone in the car can establish a Bluetooth connection with the in-vehicle electronic device, which can quickly and safely connect the in-vehicle electronic device to the mobile phone hotspot in the car, and use the traffic shared by the mobile phone; and reduce the user’s operation actions and improve the user experience.
