Huawei publishes patent related to vehicle braking

Huawei has added one more patent on the list related to “vehicle braking”, which can control whether to recover power battery energy according to the state of charge SOC.

Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. recently published a patent for “Vehicle Braking Method, Device and Electronic Equipment”, the publication number is CN113302078A, and the application date is April 2021.

As per the patent summary, this method can determine to control the vehicle to the only brake according to the state of charge SOC of the power battery on the vehicle, or to control the vehicle to brake and turn on the braking energy recovery.

Encyclopedia information shows that the state of charge (SOC) is the ratio of the remaining capacity after a battery has been used for a period of time or left unused for a long time to its fully charged capacity.
