Huawei has found the search engine Qwant for European users to replace Google

Huawei P40 series is available in Europe with a price tag of €799 (Huawei P40) and €999.00 (Huawei P40 Pro) with amazing offers. The company has found a search engine for users in Europe. It is basically a google’s alternative because users of Europe are unable to use Google Services on their smartphones. The Chinese technology giant announced that it has partnered with the French search engine Qwant.

Qwant search engine will be preloaded on all Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro + devices in France, Italy, and Germany. Other users who have Huawei smartphones will be able to download the application, which is an alternative to Google search, from Huawei AppGallery. Qwant search engine has 5 million monthly visitors.

With such high data security requirements for the new Huawei P40 series, it was important that we could guarantee our customers the same level of security when it came to the internet search engine that uses data. Qwant is the best partner we can work with on the first search engine with privacy ” – Alex Huang, Country Manager, Huawei CBG France.

“Huawei is a global brand and a very popular, top-class technology company. It is therefore a very important and commercially structured public partnership for Qwant. By being selected as the search engine for the Huawei P40 smartphones, we at Qwant today are proud and happy to share our unique search engine, which does not collect your personal information and respects your privacy, with the largest number of European consumers. ” Jean-Claude Ghinozzi, CEO of Qwant.
