Huawei smart car solution BU gained the ISO/SAE 21434 automotive network security certificate

According to the officials, Huawei’s smart car solution BU has gained the ISO/SAE 21434:2021 compliance certificate for automotive network security, becoming the world’s first smart car to pass the DEKRA ISO/SAE 21434 certification solution provider.

In the past, Huawei stated that our aim is to help automakers to build a good car, and continues to provide high-quality, high-safety smart car solutions for customers in the automotive industry. Passing the ISO/SAE 21434 standard certification indicates that the product development, procurement, production, operation, maintenance of Huawei’s smart car solution BU fully meets the requirements of the standard and has the ability to provide customers in the automotive industry with a network that meets industry best practices.

To learn it better, ISO/SAE 21434 is the key supporting standard of the United Nations cyber security regulation UN R155. The standard was officially released on August 31, 2021, and defines the cyber security risk management requirements for automotive electronic and electrical systems , covering all stages of the entire life cycle including concept, development, production, operation and maintenance, and scrap.
